A Healthy Investment

The world is starting to realise that an investment in people at work reaps many significant financial benefits. These financial benefits are coupled with positive outcomes in individual and the business’s health, wellbeing and performance. 

McKinsey have quantified the financial benefits of such an investment and the numbers are compelling. Unfortunately, these compelling numbers still do not provide enough motivation for a great number of organisations to implement an integrated health, wellbeing and performance program. The old models of work are no longer valid in today’s world. 

The times must start to change because the costs associated with workplaces in Australia, particularly workers compensation is not a sustainable model. Let’s start to invest more in prevention.  It just makes sense.
